Wild Roots Wellness is my experience in navigating the world of natural wellness, parenting, and a career in public health. As a self proclaimed "scrunchy mom", I try to maintain realistic approach to natural living - balancing being good to the earth and down to earth.
About Amanda
I hold a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Community Health and an M.A. in Health Education and Promotion. I am a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and have focused my health studies in environmental health, life cycle nutrition, and the impact of sleep on health. I believe living a naturally healthy life is all about keeping it simple - eat real whole foods, move everyday, and keep stress to a minimum.
We welcomed our daughter into the world this year so my focus has definitely shifted to include more than just personal wellness. I love being a mama and I am learning so much right now. I want to share my struggles and successes in natural parenting, keeping a green home, and maintaining balance as a new mom while I re-enter the workforce and continue to grow as a health professional. |
